PROJECT OVERVIEW

This project is a custom map for Ready or Not. My mission happens in a public library, in which Hostile have planned a terrorist attack on the library and have taken hostages.

The player, with their squad, must secure all hostages and take down any threat.

I wanted this mission to be in the mid/end game and not for novice players and wanted it to be difficult.

This project was intended to be a short-project scope. It took me 2 weeks from start to this state.

LAYOUT

For the layout, I spent only few hours on it, I wanted to start quickly the Blockout.

This helped me a lot to have a first view of where I was going, but I have more ease to build interesting spaces in 3D.

1st Floor

On the first floor, the building has 3 different entrances. 2 are on each side of a long corridor. The third is an emergency exit leading to WC.

The corridor split the first floor into 2 parts, one side for an exposition, the other side with the reception.

The only way to go upstairs is the main stair in front of the reception.

2nd Floor

The main stair leads to the center of the 2nd floor. The player can go to the 3rd floor by taking the main stairs. Or he can clear the floor and get to one of the two other stairs on the 2nd floor.

The 2nd floor is made of 2 different library rooms and one part the archives.

3rd Floor

The 3rd floor is composed of the second part of the archives, a huge library room and the director's offices.
